Cincinnati, OH (SportsNetwork. http://www.airmax90ultra.fr/nike-air-max-90-premium-wheat-bronze-baroque-marron-chaussures-de-course-homme.html .com) - Jeremy Hill rushed for 147 yards and a touchdown and Dre Kirkpatrick posted two interceptions as the Cincinnati Bengals clinched a playoff spot for a fourth straight season with a 37-28 win over the Denver Broncos on Monday. Andy Dalton completed 17-of-26 passes for 146 yards with two touchdowns and an interception for the Bengals (10-4-1), who will battle Pittsburgh for the AFC North title on Sunday night. Im very proud of our guys tonight for our resiliency, our ability to come back after negative plays and put positive plays and string them together, Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis said. Obviously, things to work on and do, but were still in position, still controlling our destiny, and thats all we can ask for at this point in the year. Jermaine Gresham caught nine passes for 62 yards and a score and Giovani Bernard also hauled in a TD pass in the win. Peyton Manning struggled throughout and was picked off four times while finishing with 311 yards and two scores on 28-of-44 passing for the Broncos (11-4), who had a four-game win streak come to an end. C.J. Anderson rushed for 83 yards and a score on 18 carries, Emmanuel Sanders had two scores to go with 70 yards on six catches and Demaryius Thomas finished with seven catches for a game-high 115 yards in defeat. We just have to be more consistent for four quarters. You cant play well the end of the second quarter and the beginning of the third quarter - not play well in the first and not play well in the fourth, said Manning. Against good football teams, you have to be more consistent and I have to play better as well. New England clinched the first overall seed in the AFC due to Denvers loss. Brandon Tates 49-yard punt return helped set up Mike Nugents 23-yard field goal to give the Bengals a 30-28 edge with 7:49 to play. On the following Broncos drive, a facemask penalty wiped out Thomas 27-yard catch, and Taylor Mays sacked Manning for a 6-yard loss to force a punt. Denver got the ball back with four minutes remaining. On 3rd-and-1, Mannings throw was way off the mark as Kirkpatrick intercepted it and ran the ball back for a 30-yard score and a 37-28 lead with 2:41 to play. After Manning was sacked, Anderson caught a short pass and ran it 20 yards for a first down prior to the two-minute warning. Two plays later, Manning hit Welker over the middle for a first down. On 3rd-and-4, Anderson broke two tackles and ran for 27 yards, but Kirkpatrick picked off Manning again at the Bengals 5 to seal the win. After each team punted twice to start the game, A.J. Green tipped Daltons pass up in the air and Aqib Talib made a diving one-handed grab and ran it back 33 yards for an early Broncos lead. Green was hit hard on the play and was limited the rest of the game with a right arm injury. On the next play from scrimmage, Hill bounced out to his right on a counter, shook off a tackle and darted 85 yards for a 7-7 game. Hills second-effort plunge on fourth down moved the chains to help set up Nugents eventual 37-yard field goal less than five minutes into the second quarter. Denvers woeful offensive start continued on the ensuing drive as Reggie Nelson ripped the ball out of Julius Thomas hands for an interception, giving the Bengals the ball at their opponents 25. Dalton scrambled for gains of 10 and nine yards before lofting a pass to Gresham in the back of the end zone from two yards out to increase Cincinnatis lead to 17-7 with 7:56 to play in the first half. A Ryan Clady holding call erased a 48-yard catch from Demaryius Thomas on Denvers next drive and halted all momentum after Andersons 13-yard run moved the team near midfield. The Bengals took over shortly after at their own 15. Bernard broke off a 23- yard run and also hauled in an 18-yard pass before Nugent was true from 49 yards out. Manning and the Denver offense received the ball with 1:03 to play in the first half and cooly moved the ball 49 yards down the field in seven plays. Connor Barth, however, hooked his 49-yard attempt wide left as time expired. Down 20-7 at halftime, Denver came storming out of the break. Omar Bolden returned the kickoff 77 yards down to the Bengals 21, Demaryius Thomas made a 19-yard grab and Anderson ran the ball in from a yard out after a pass interference call to make it a 20-14 contest. Adam Jones countered with an electric 80-yard return of his own to start the Bengals at their opponents 27. Three plays later, Dalton dumped off a pass to Bernard, who ran through a defender and up the left sideline for a 22-yard score. Sanders hauled in a deep 33-yard pass down to the Bengals 15 before catching Mannings quick strike three plays later for a 4-yard touchdown and a 27-21 game with 9:08 to play in the third. Cincinnati marched down the field into the red zone, but Von Miller stripped Hill of the ball and Denver took over at its own 9. Manning stepped up in the pocket and fired a 46-yard bomb to Demaryius Thomas After Thomas moved the chains again with a 15-yard catch down to the Bengals 9, Sanders got past the Cincinnati secondary and put the Broncos ahead with a 5-yard score for a 28-27 lead with 1:29 remaining in the third. Early in the fourth, Adam Jones picked off Manning and returned it to Denvers 23, but was flagged for taunting which drew the Bengals out of field goal position. Game Notes The Broncos can clinch a first-round bye next week with a win over Oakland or a Bengals loss ...It was Cincinnatis first win against Manning in nine tries ... Thomas passed Rod Smith for the most 100-yard receiving games in a single season in franchise history with nine ... Manning threw four interceptions for the first time since a 38-35 loss to Dallas on Dec. 5, 2010 as a member of the Colts ... Hills 85-yd TD run is the fourth rushing score over 80 yards ever allowed by Denver. It was the first since Ahman Green in 2003 ... The Bengals ended a four-game losing streak to the Broncos ... Denver outgained Cincinnati, 385-353. http://www.airmax90ultra.fr/homme-chaussures-de-course-air-max-90-essential-minuit-marine-jade-blanche.html . Toronto coach Scott Milanovich was the first in the CFL to avail himself of the chance to challenge the officials failure to rule pass interference on a play and subject it to video review. His challenge stood and it helped set up Steve Slatons second touchdown of the game to put Toronto ahead 24-16. http://www.airmax90ultra.fr/air-max-95-ultra-jacquard-flyknit-homme-orange.html . As always Jordan Cieciwa (@FitCityJordan) and I (@LynchOnSports) go head to head with our preview and picks. Last week at UFC Fight Night 33, my #TeamLynch (6 correct picks) slightly edged out #TeamJC (5 correct picks). Let us know which side youre on! Use the hashtag #TeamLynch or #TeamJC on Twitter. Also feel free to leave you opinions in the comment section below. Demetrious Johnson vs. Joseph Benavidez (Flyweight Championship) James Lynch TSN.ca (@LynchOnSports) In a rematch from their tightly contested encounter back at UFC 152 in Toronto, flyweight champ Johnson looks to make his third defense of his title when he battles Team Alpha male fighter Benavidez. Since winning the inaugural title at that same event back in September of 2012, "Mighty Mouse" has dispatched TUF 14 winner John Dodson and John Moraga to push his winning streak to four-straight. The 29-year old Benavidez has had an equally impressive run, racking up three-straight wins, including two spectacular knockouts. Clearly since the addition of striking coach Duane Ludwig to the Team Alpha Male camp, Benavidezs striking has looked impressive. Johnson earned his first submission victory in three years during his last fight and also trains with a prestigious camp at AMC Pankration. Traditionally, rematches tend to play out much differently than the first fight, but in this case its tough to say which 125lb fighter has improved more. Both are decorated wrestlers and while you could give the edge on the mat to Johnson, Benavidez has the better striking game. Its a coin flip and with that Im going to take California favorite Benavidez for the victory via split decision. Benavidez via split decision Jordan Cieciwa TSN 1290 (@FitCityJordan) UFC 152 had us treated to a great fight at flyweight when Demetrious Johnson squared off against Joseph Benavidez. Johnson won the fight, but fans have been looking forward to this rematch since Johnson successfully defended his title twice. Johnson won a unanimous decision against John Dodson, and arm barred John Moraga with less than two minutes in the 5th round. If he goes to sleep on Benavidez or tries to take this one to the "deep water" of the championship rounds, hes not keeping his title. Benavidez is going to be looking to finish this fight. This is a great fight for the 125lb category. I see this going to Benavidez way. His improvements in striking will allow him to set the pace in this fight. Benavidez via unanimous decision Urijah Faber vs. Michael McDonald Lynch Much like the main event, an equally competitive matchup takes place in the 135lb division as former WEC featherweight champ Faber battles fellow California native, McDonald. Since losing his inaugural bantamweight title fight to Renan Barao back at UFC 149, "The California Kid" has won three straight over Ivan Menjivar, Scott Jorgensen and most recently Yuri Alcantara. At 34-years of age, this may very well be his last run at UFC gold and we very well could see a passing of the guard on Saturday night. McDonald meanwhile made history earlier this year becoming the youngest fighter to compete for a UFC title in his loss to Renan Barao back at UFC on FUEL 7. Despite the loss, the 22-year old responded well in his next fight, handing Brad Pickett his first stoppage loss in the UFC. No doubt Faber has fought tougher competition during his 35-fight career, but McDonald has just two blemishes (one being to Barao) in his 18-fight career. The Oakdale MMA pupil has more power, but the Team Alpha male captain has more in his arsenal to win this fight with his wrestling and ground game. Its doubtful either fighter will earn a stoppage and if thats the case, Im giving the nod to the experienced Faber. Faber via unanimous decision Jordan Urijah Faber always brings the fight and not too many people have been able to beat him. In fact, he seems to only lose to champions. Michael McDonald does the same thing. He hasnt lost to anyone other than Renan Barao for about five years. So it brings up the question. Does the veteran show the new comer the ropes? Or does the young up start show the MMA world that he learned a thing or two since losing to the champ, then coming back to choke out a top contender in Brad Pickett. Im going with the young blood in this one. Michael McDonald has looked fantastic in all his outings.. http://www.airmax90ultra.fr/marine-noir-blanche-homme-air-max-90-sneakerboot-chaussures.html. He will need to bring the best fight of his career, but I think it is in him. If McDonald uses his two-inch height advantage hell be able to keep Faber far enough back that he should be able to defend the take down. Well know in the first two minutes if Im right. If McDonald gets his first sprawl, hell be able to compete and win. McDonald via unanimous decision Nik Lentz vs. Chad Mendes Lynch Yet another Team Alpha male pupil competes on the main card as 15-1 Mendes battles fellow NCAA Division I wrestler Lentz. Since losing to current champ Jose Aldo last January, the 28-year old Mendes has amassed four consecutive knockout victories, including a third round TKO over Clay Guida in his last bout. It was the first time through Guidas 44-fight career that he had been stopped due to strikes. Meanwhile for Lentz, since his drop to featherweight he has remained undefeated, racking up wins over Eiji Mitsuoka, Diego Nunes and Hacran Dias. Much of Lentz success has been due to his work with top health/fitness guru Mike Dolce. Initially slated to fight Dennis Bermudez back at UFC Fight Night 31, the 29-year old will take a huge step up in competition when he squares off with Mendes. Everything Lentz can do, "Money" can do better and while this should be a competitive bout, its Mendes fight to lose. Expect the first round to be a wrestling clinic for both fighters, but come the second round, the 28-year old will find his range and knockout "The Carney" to earn a featherweight title shot. Mendes via second round knockout Jordan UFC on Fox 9 could be called UFC Alpha Male. This is the first of the fights for team Alpha Male that I see being a clear cut pick. Chad Mendes is so dominant at 145lbs that I can see him knocking out a veteran like Nik Lentz. Lentz is a big featherweight, and he made the cut thanks to one of the best in the business Mike Dolce. That size doesnt usually change Mendes fight plan. Watch for him to push the pace and use all his strength to control the fight. The pace will be set to a level that will have Lentz make a mistake, Mendes will capitalize with a heavy right hand. Once on the ground, Mendes should end this with a flurry. Mendes via second round TKO Mac Danzig vs. Joe Lauzon Lynch A pair of lightweights on two-fight losing streaks open up the main card Saturday night, as TUF 6 winner Danzig battles jiu-jitsu ace Lauzon. With the UFC looking to do additional roster cuts into the New Year, the loser of this bout could very well find themselves on the unemployment line. The PRIDE veteran Danzig is coming off a second round knockout loss to Melvin Guillard, and hasnt earned a victory inside the octagon since April of 2012. Lauzon looked impressive in his "Fight of the Year" victory over Jamie Varner in August 2012, but since then has looked flat in back to back decision losses to Jim Miller and Michael Johnson. For Danzig, his last notable win was back in 2008 against Mark Bocek and since then, has only beat fighters who are no longer on the UFC roster. Lauzon is younger and has shown flashes of greatness in his wins over Jamie Varner and Melvin Guillard. No doubt it will be a close fight, but I expect the former IT Professional to emerge victorious on Saturday. Lauzon via third round submission. Jordan How did this get on a free card? This has the potential to be one of those great scraps. Mac Danzig is one of those fun to watch tough fighters with a lot of skill in both striking and as soon as the fight hits the mat. Joe Lauzon has shown us over the years how to utilize Jujitsu in the UFC. Hes ground game is second to none. With that said, both this fighters have been resting on their laurels. They have looked impressive at times, but not consistently. We all know the potential is there for them to be great. My hope is that Dana Whites famous pre-event speech gets them amped. For those that dont know, White is famous for reminding fighters that their job is never guaranteed and anytime they want, he can find a fighter to replace them. If they dont want to get fired, they need to prove it that night. Im choosing grit on this night. Danzig via unanimous decision Undercard Picks: Lynch: McGee, Barboza, Green, Jorgensen, Stout JC: McGee, Barboza, Healy, Jorgensen, McKenzie Also be sure to tune into the "Weigh-In" on TSN Radio 1290 Winnipeg every Saturday as myself, Jordan and "Big Marv" Timog go toe to toe discussing the hottest topics in MMA. Cheap NFL Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Wholesale NFL Jerseys Jerseys From China Wholesale NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

EVANSVILLE, Ind. Cheap NFL Jerseys China . -- No. 4 Wichita State relied on the basics Sunday: defence and ball security. Again, it was the perfect combination. The Shockers forced 18 turnovers, finished with a season-high 14 steals and finally locked down Evansvilles shooters late to pull away for an 84-68 victory that kept them one of the nations two undefeated teams. "We wanted to extend them, get their timing disrupted. I dont think we expected that many steals," Fred VanVleet said. "There were only a few times where we had breakdowns where we werent really where we were supposed to be." Few expected the Shockers (27-0, 14-0 Missouri Valley Conference) to be in this spot -- even after reaching the Final Four last April. They are one of only 21 teams in NCAA history to win their first 27 games, extended their school-record winning streak and are 14-0 in conference play for the first time in school history. And after Arizonas latest loss, Wichita State could be poised to move up another notch in the poll, getting even closer to Division Is only other perfect team -- No. 1 Syracuse. A win Wednesday at Loyola also would assure the Shockers at least a share of the regular-season conference title and the No. 1 seed in the Valley tournament -- with three league games still on the docket. How have they done it? With a balanced offence and a staunch defence that Evansville knows is the best in the Valley. Wichita State trumped the Purple Aces by outscoring them 23-2 off turnovers and 10-4 on fastbreaks. Coach Gregg Marshall didnt even need a stat sheet to tell him what had happened. He estimated that the Shockers topped the 40-deflection mark. The other numbers were just as glaring. VanVleet and Ron Baker each finished with a career-best five steals, and, not surprisingly wound up as the top scorers. Baker had a career-high 26 points, while VanVleet added 18 and eight assists and flirted with the possibility of a triple-double throughout the second half. But thats not what motivated Wichita, which lost twice to Evansville last season and fell behind by double-digits early in the first meeting two weeks ago at Wichita. They wanted to put away the Aces, and before the game, Marshall let Cleanthony Early, the teams top scorer, know exactly what he needed to do in front of a Pacers scout who had been asking about his defence. Early responded by scoring 13 points, seven rebounds and playing his best defensive game of the year, too. "I loved his mental approach tonight and thats not always the case," Marshall said. "But tonight I thought he was very disciplined and when he does that, man, hes really good." Evansville (11-16, 4-10) learned its lesson the hard way. Despite getting 19 points from D.J. Balentine, the MVCs top scorer, and 19 points and 10 rebounds from Egidiju Mockevicius, it wasnt quite enough to prevent a fourth loss in five games or a second straight this season to Wichita. The Purple Aces did most of what they set out to do -- shooting 51.1 per cent from the field, 45.5 per cent from 3-point range, made 15 of 16 free throws, limited the Shockers to only six offensive rebounds and kept challenging Wichita State right down to the final minutes. But the turnovers, as they had all game, finally did them in. "We didnt turn it over in the press, we did it in the half-court and you have to take care of the basketball," coach Marty Simmons said. "Weve really got to learn, weve got to learn from that, and thats one of our biggest deficiencies." The Purple Aces, however, only trailed 38-32 at the half and still found a way to fight back after falling into a 55-41 deficit early in the second half. Mockevicius scored the first eight points in a 10-2 spurt that cut the deficit to 57-51 with 11:19 to go. Early answered with five straight points and Evansville rallied again, getting as close as 65-60 with 6:10 left before throwing the ball away on an inbound pass that would have cut the deficit to three. "They did a good job of changing defences and I was trying to get a timeout," Simmons said. Instead, the Shockers got the ball back and forced two more turnovers during the decisive 13-4 run that finally sealed the victory. "We were just focused on getting stops and it went in our favour," VanVleet said. "We wanted to end it right there. After that possession, I think we got back on the right track." China Jerseys 2016 .Navas says on his website I feel outraged, my privacy and that of my family have been violated. ... The question is, where is he most likely to go? An obvious choice is the Edmonton Oilers. Gretzky won four Stanley Cups with the Oilers from 1979-1988 before “the trade” sent him packing to sunny California to play with the Los Angeles Kings.METAIRIE, La. - The New Orleans Saints have re-signed receiver Joseph Morgan for one year and have agreed to a four-year deal with free agent fullback Erik Lorig. Morgan returns after a knee injury in training camp cost him all of last season. Lorig joins New Orleans after spending his first four NFL seasons with Tampa Bay, where he also played tight end. Financial terms have noot been released for the deals, which were announced Tuesday. Wholesale Jerseys. Morgan began his career in New Orleans as an undrafted free agent in 2011 and made his regular season debut in 2012, when he caught 10 passes for 379 yards and three touchdowns. Lorig has served as the lead blocker for a pair of 1,000-yard rushers. He also has 30 catches for 193 yards and a touchdown. Cheap NFL Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Wholesale NFL Jerseys Jerseys From China Wholesale NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

10. http://www.maillotfrancefoot.fr/maillot-paul-pogba-equipe-de-france.html . Vancouver Canucks trade Cam Neely & 1st Round Pick to Boston Bruins for Barry Pederson (1986)Few remember that Neely, the original power forward, spent the first three years of his career with the Canucks. Vancouver gave up on the local product after he put up 104 points in his first three years in the league in an attempt to add some more goal scoring and defensive responsibility to the lineup. Neely exploded on to the scene in Beantown with 72 points and 143 PIMs in his first season while Pederson struggled to regain his scoring touch on the left coast. The cherry on top? The first round pick that the Canucks added to the deal turned into Glen Wesley, who patrolled the Bruins blue line for seven solid seasons at the outset of his two decades in the league. 9. New York Islanders trade Zdeno Chara, Bill Muckalt and a first-round draft choice to the Ottawa Senators for Alexei Yashin (2001)The Islanders have made a few deals over the years that have left their thriving fan base dumfounded, and this one belongs near the top of the list. After sitting out an entire season, Yashin was looking to get paid and the Islanders were willing to open the checkbook. This deal was seemingly reasonable at the time, as Yashin was one of the games better players at the time and Chara had yet to develop into a menace. But Yashin fell off the cliff on the Island, the pick turned into Jason Spezza and we all know what Chara is now. 8. Boston Bruins trade Joe Thornton to the San Jose Sharks for Marco Sturm, Wayne Primeau & Brad Stuart (2005)In a bit revisionist history, imagine where the Bruins would be if they had never dealt Jumbo Joe. Would they have won the Cup? More than one? Despite failing to get anything resembling a top six player in return for a Hart Trophy winner, the Bruins saved themselves the money that Joe was asking for, and put together one of the model franchises of the league. Depth is often overlooked, as the players stuffing the box scores receive the credit while the sandpaper playing a dozen minutes a night is considered interchangeable and insignificant. The three players that the Bruins got back in this deal were these type of players, who while valuable were often forgotten. However, Joe scored seventy plus points in in seven straight seasons for the Sharks, so no amount of depth can make up for the impact that he has had in San Jose. 7. New York Islanders trade Roberto Luongo and Olli Jokinen to the Florida Panthers for Mark Parrish and Oleg Kvasha (2000)Mike Milbury strikes again. After taking Luongo 4th overall in 97, he decided to take Rick DiPietro 1st overall in 2000. So obviously he decided to ship Bobby Loo to the Sunshine State. Ironically Jokinen was taken one pick before Luongo in 97, and ended up playing for three different teams in his first three full seasons in the league. This quote from the 2000 draft will go down as one of the more misguided statements in recent history. "Were rolling the dice here a little bit," Milbury said, grinning as if to acknowledge his understatement. "Luongo is going to be an excellent goaltender in this league for a lot of years. But in our minds, we feel DiPietro possesses an element Roberto didnt have." You certainly cant knock Milbury for trying to be bold, and there was no way of knowing that DiPietro would suffer so many injuries that would derail his career, but this move will go down as the feather in Milburys cap. 6. Toronto Maple Leafs trade Tuukka Rask to the Boston Bruins for Andrew Raycroft (2006)The reign of John Ferguson Jr. at the helm of the Leafs was far from glorious, and his decision to trade Rask was especially ugly. The Leafs had both Justin Pogge and Rask coming up in the ranks, and an aging Eddie Belfour on the roster who was in need of some insulation. The decision to ship Rask out instead of Pogge is one that forever marred JFJs track record. Raycroft won the Calder with the Bruins in 03-04, and after playing in the Swedish Elite League during the lockout, made his way to Toronto where expectations were high for the Belleville, Ontario native. There was dreams of Raycroft and Pogge teaming up to form a formidable goaltending tandem for the Leafs, but neither player was able to find their way in the league. Raycroft had one solid season for the blue and white, but failed to find any consistency throughout his career. Rask was just a pup when he was dealt to the Bs, but after developing in Providence for a couple of seasons, the Fin has established himself as one of the best goalies in the game. One can only imagine where the Leafs would be if this deal had never materialized 5. Montreal Canadiens trade Patrick Roy and Mike Keane to the Colorado Avalanche for Andrei Kovalenko, Martin Rucinsky and Jocelyn Thibault (1995)We all remember the scene of Roy storming off the ice and whispering into Habs president Ronald Coreys ear. Several days later, he was dealt to the Avs in a move that Canadiens fans still shake their head at. Was it a panic move by the Habs? It sure looks like it in retrospect. The Canadiens thought that they were getting a goalie that would be able to develop into a capable replacement in Thibault, but he was never able a consistent game. All the while Roy won another two Cups in Colorado, and will go down as one of the best goalies of all time. Kovalenko and Rucinsky were capable players, but were never able to find enough success with the Habs to come close to justifying the deal. 4. Edmonton Oilers trade Mark Messier and Jeff Beukeboom to New York Rangers for Bernie Nicholls, David Shaw, Steven Rice and Louie DeBrusk (1991)While many point to that fateful day in 88 as the one that defined The Boys on the Bus, it can be said that dealing the Moose was the one that officially ended the dynasty of the copper and blue. However, many forget that the circumstance surrounding the departure of Gretzky and Messier from Edmonton differ greatly. While The Great One was sold by owner Peter Pocklington, Messier and his agent (his father Doug) demanded a trade when contract demands werent met. It is often difficult to leverage adequate value when a player publicly demands a trade, but Oilers GM Glen Sather fell short of even getting players that could stay on the ice for the Oilers. Messier of course went on to lift Lord Stanley for the Rangers, while the Oilers havent won a ring since he left. 3. Florida Panthers trade Roberto Luongo, Lukas Krajicek and a sixth-round pick (Sergei Shirokov) to the Vancouver Canucks for Alex Auld, Bryan Allen and Todd Bertuzzi (2006)One player appearing on the same list twice? And by the time the week is done he could make it a trifecta. Apparently GMs around the league are eager to try to formulate deals to ship Luongo around the league, but he who deals him continues to get hosed on the return. Bertuzzi certainly had his time as a high-end player for Vancouver skating alongside Marcus Naslund, but getting a franchise goalie for the better part of a decade was worth more than him and some spare parts. 2. Philadelphia Flyers trade Peter Forsberg, Steve Duchesne, Mike Ricci, Kerry Huffman, Ron Hextall, Chris Simon, two first-round selections (Jocelyn Thibault and Nolan Baumgartner) and cash ($15 million) to Quebec for Eric Lindros (1992) Lindros was a man among boys coming out of junior, but he came along with some heavy baggage. He made it known that he didnt want to play for the Nords, and ended up sitting out his rookie season waiting for a deal. A year later the Nords shipped him to Philly and in return got a bounty that armchair GMs would have a tough time wrapping their heads around. While Lindros burst onto the scene and established himself as one of the best players in the game, the price that was paid for the man-child is still hard to justify. Forsberg established himself as one of the leagues most dynamic forwards, Hextall eventually found his way back to Philly - but he was an established tender that played another seven seasons after the deal. Add in a half dozen role players plus a cool $15 million, and it is hard to justify this deal despite the level of dominance that Lindros displayed during his time in the league. 1. Edmonton Oilers trade Wayne Gretzky, Marty McSorley and Mike Krushenlnyski to the Los Angeles Kings for Jimmy Carson, Martin Gelinas, three 1st round picks and $15 million (198 On so many levels, incomprehensible. Not only because of his status as the greatest player of all time, and not only because it was the end of one of the greatest dynasties the game had ever seen. Deals like this are quite simply not possible in todays league and therefore that much more difficult to wrap your head around. The economic condition that the league is flush with now makes it easy to forget the days when southern expansion was fresh and you could quite simply cut checks for players akin to European footy. It doesnt even matter that the Oilers could have ended up in decent shape had Jimmy Carson kept up his torrid scoring pace or that Glen Sather had next to no part in the negotiations of the best player of all time. The trade was hardly that, but more of a transfer of assets. It shocked the sporting world in a way that cannot be replicated. Maillot Foot Euro 2016 .C. - Jaedon Descheneau scored a hat trick as the Kootenay Ice beat the Medicine Hat Tigers 7-4 to take a 3-1 lead in their Western Hockey League playoff series Thursday. Maillot Personnalisé Foot . (SportsNetwork. Cheap China Jerseys .com) - The lengthy road trip for the Los Angeles Clippers takes them to Brooklyn Monday night for a showdown with the Nets at Barclays Center. The Clippers are 2-1 on an eight-game journey and registered a 105-85 victory over the defending champion San Antonio Spurs Saturday in the Alamo City. Blake Griffin had 31 points and 13 rebounds, Chris Paul scored 20 points and DeAndre Jordan grabbed 19 rebounds to go with eight points. Los Angeles posted a 56-36 rebounding advantage and held the Spurs to 17 points in the second quarter and 16 in the fourth. We had great focus and our pace was fantastic, Los Angeles head coach Doc Rivers said. Everybody contributed. Our bench was phenomenal tonight. The Clippers are 13-8 on the road and have won seven of its last eight games. They will also visit Cleveland, Toronto, Oklahoma City and Dallas on the excursion, and are averaging 106.7 ppg on the road this season. Brooklyn has struggled lately as evidenced by four straight losses and 12 in the last 14 tries. The losing ways resumed for the Nets with Fridays 127-122 overtime loss to the Toronto Raptors. Jarrett Jack scored a career-high 35 points with 13 assists and Brook Lopez also had 35 and grabbed 12 rebounds for the Nets, who have lost seven in a row at home. I thought we represented ourselves well, said Jack. Really proud of the way we fought back. The Nets, who had a season-low seven turnovers, recorded 31 points in the fourth quarter and were outscored, 14-9, in overtime. Brooklyn has an 8-15 home record this season and was recently hammered by the Clippers, 123-84, on Jan. 22 at Staples Center. Griffin had 24 points in that one for LA, which has won three of the last four games in this series. The Nets are riding a six-game win streak as the host versus the Clippers. Wholesale Jerseys . Parker scored 25 points and Duncan had 16 points and 13 rebounds, and San Antonio never trailed, cruising past the Dallas Mavericks 112-90 Wednesday night. Both teams were on the second night of a back-to-back, with San Antonio winning in overtime at Memphis and the Mavericks topping the Los Angeles Lakers in Dallas. Cheap NFL Jerseys China . Ward stole a pair of goals from Winnipeg centre Bryan Little in the first period, beginning with a pad save during a Jets two-man advantage and then displaying his quickness with a highlight-reel stick stop. http://www.cheapchinajerseysforsale.com/ . On Friday night, Kuznetsov began compiling the North American version of his greatest hits -- posting three assists for his first NHL points in the Capitals 4-3 win over the Vancouver Canucks.FIVE QUICK NBA THOUGHTS 1. CHRIS GRANT (Cavs): The GM gets fired on Thursday after his team won only 29 per cent of its games during his tenure. Obviously, a totally undermanned Lakers team beating them on their home floor was the final straw. Wow, what a mess it is right now. Many folks thought with the addition of Jarrett Jack, Andrew Bynum, head coach Mike Brown and first overall pick Anthony Bennett that they would be knocking on the door for a seven or eight seed in the East. No such luck. Its been dysfunctional and the idea of signing LeBron James in the summer looks like a pipe dream and the ability to hold onto Kyrie Irving (in spite of what he says) is in serious doubt. Fragile business. 2. ENES KANTER (Jazz): Have watched him twice in person and on TV a bunch of times and I gotta confess, Im more of a Derrick Favors fan. Not sure both of these guys can co-exist. Kanter is averaging 12 and 6 and when I watch him I see a guy that is a bit robotic with his game. Yes hes a bruiser but its hard to play that style unless you have great skill to go with it. Still a work in progress. 3. CHRIS PAUL (Clippers): Its a bit chilly and rain is in the forecast here for later today in L.A. Rather this than snow and freezing temperatures. News that warmed me up today was the fact that the All-Star point guard wont make his return from injury until Sunday so the Raptors catch a break not seeing him. But it will still be a very difficult game to win for Toronto here on Friday. It will be great for Paul to get on the court this weekend and play next weekend at his first professional stop (New Orleans) in the All-Star Game. Good for the sport. Terrific player and class act. 4. RAPTORS at KINGS: It was the fourth time in the last few weeks (Celtics, Lakers, Bobcats) that the Raptors played down to their competition and "Played the Record". Games like these hhaunt teams and cause sleepless nights for coaches. Cheap NFL Jerseys. . I felt for Dwane Casey on Thursday night - he tried everything to get his team going with little success. Im sorry but this team isnt good enough to overlook anyone. Totally got outplayed and didnt deserve to win. Winning teams have real good habits. This team still floats big time with its focus. Its easy to get up for the name teams but as usual guys get it backwards. Its really hard to win those games. Play really hard against the teams you can beat and youll have a really nice season and then steal the occasional game when you play a team thats in the upper class. Tough lessons to learn. Time they actually learn the lesson and do something about it. You want the third our fourth seed and home court in the first round of the Playoffs? Punch the clock, bring the lunch bucket and hard hat and compete like crazy. You do that - youll have success. Time to grow up a bit. I have no issues with losing if you lay it all on the line to the best of your ability and the other guy happens to be better that night - that happens. Shake his hand and hold your head high and get ready for the next one. Stop teasing folks. This team is good enough and has good people on it - theyll figure it out. 5. TOM THIBODEAU (Bulls): I like what he said recently about playing time. Hes the boss and he and only he will determine who gets the privilege that you have to EARN to play and finish games. Carlos Boozer is upset with his fourth quarter role of late. I have a suggestion - play really hard and well and guess what? Youll play and finish games. Coaches want to and have to win. Its your job to please your coach, not the other way around. A coachs ultimate loyalty has to be to winning and team. Nothing else comes close. Believe me you could coach a guy you completely dislike personally yet youll play him every minute if he helps you win. Cheap NFL Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Wholesale NFL Jerseys Jerseys From China Wholesale NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

VANCOUVER -- John Tortorella has been on his best behaviour since taking over as head coach of the Vancouver Canucks. Authentic Andre Iguodala Jersey . His teams worst performance of the season brought some of the old temper bubbling to the surface Tuesday. "We sucked," Tortorella said after Vancouver dropped a 3-2 shootout decision to the lowly Florida Panthers. "It was easily our worst game of the year. We didnt deserve a point." Having already lost four in a row, the Canucks came out flat against an opponent that has already fired a coach and endured a nine-game losing streak this season. And while Tortorella didnt have one of the post-game explosions he made famous during stints with the Tampa Bay Lightning and New York Rangers, he was clearly disgusted with the effort, especially in a first period that saw Florida carry the play and take a 1-0 lead. "Its lack of respect and we have no business (showing) a lack of respect to any hockey team," Tortorella continued. "In the situation were in going into tonights game, I just dont know what were thinking as far as how we started the game. "I cant explain it." Jonathan Huberdeau scored the only goal of the shootout, beating Vancouver netminder Roberto Luongo with a nice backhand-forehand deke on Floridas first attempt. Chris Higgins came closest to scoring for the Canucks, hitting the post behind Tim Thomas on Vancouvers final shot. Like their coach, the Canucks were at a loss to explain the performance. "Theyre never easy. It doesnt matter who you play," said Luongo, who finished with 34 saves through regulation and overtime. "As soon as you start thinking that, its game over for us. Theres no easy points in this league. Youve got to perform every night, every teams going to give you a challenge. "Especially given the fact that we lost four in a row, I dont understand why we would think it would be easy." Shawn Matthias and Brad Boyes scored in regulation for Florida (6-12-4), which got 27 saves from Thomas and has now won three of its last four. The 39-year-old Thomas, who took last season off to spend time with his family and clear his head, was back at Rogers Arena for the first time since leading the Boston Bruins to a their Game 7 victory over Vancouver in the 2011 Stanley Cup. He signed with a Panthers team in the pre-season that prior to Tuesday had not won a game in Vancouver since 1994. "Thats why hes won before, hes won a Stanley Cup before, hes won a Vezina and thats why," Panthers interim head coach Peter Horachek said of Thomas. "Hes confident (and) hes got a smile on his face when he is doing it. "He gives our guys confidence." Jannek Hansen and Higgins replied for Vancouver (11-8-4), which has just six goals total during its five-game slide. "I dont think anybody played well. We looked lethargic at times," said Tortorella. "Its disappointing and it starts from the beginning. You need to respect your opponent. We didnt." The Canucks killed off a full two-minute penalty in overtime, with Luongo making a huge pad stop on Huberdeau. Vancouver then poured it on in the final minute of the extra period, but couldnt find a way past Thomas. Playing in just his second game back after a long absence with a lower-body injury, Hansen jumped on a bad clearing attempt and wired a shot past Thomas for his third of the season at 2:35 of the final period to tie snap a 1-1 tie. After the teams exchanged chances, Matthias brought the Panthers back to level terms by ripping his third of the season past Luongo from the slot at 8:34. Down 1-0 after that lacklustre first period, the Canucks came out with some renewed intensity in the second and were rewarded when Higgins beat Thomas through a maze of legs for his seventh goal of the season at 3:26. Thomas, who won the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP with Boston back in 2011, then made a big stop on Canucks forward Alexandre Burrows before Daniel Sedin sent a shot just wide. Florida opened the scoring at 3:43 of the first against the NHLs No. 1 penalty killing unit. With Hansen off in the box for goaltender interference, Aleksander Barkovs shot off the post bounced right to Boyes, who beat a down-and-out Luongo for his eighth of the season. Burrows, who has yet to score this season in 11 games, had Vancouvers best chance of the period but he hit the post on a Florida power play with about five minutes to go. "This clunker here, it just makes no sense to me," said Tortorella. "I think a team should be chomping on the bit to get into a win column but it was a total lack of respect. There are no easy games in this game. Its a lesson learned and I hope we do learn from it." Notes: Horachek replaced the fired Kevin Dineen on Nov. 8 ... Canucks forward Dale Weise returned to the lineup after missing 10 games with a lower-body injury. He took the place of David Booth, who has just one goal and two assists in 13 games this season. ... Former members of the Panthers on the current Canucks roster include Luongo, Booth, Higgins, Mike Santorelli and Jason Garrison. ... Luongo, who was with the Panthers from 2000 to 2006 before being dealt to the Canucks, still ranks first among all-time Florida goaltenders for wins (10, games played (317) and shutouts (26). ... The Canucks continue their six-game homestand on Friday against the Columbus Blue Jackets. ... The Panthers are in Edmonton to take on the Oilers on Thursday for the third game of their four-game road trip. ... The Canucks and Panthers meet again March 16 in Sunrise, Fla. Draymond Green Jersey . "When things get switched up," he said, "its usually because youre losing so you never want to see those line changes made. Warriors Jersey .4 seconds left, but in the end their comeback could not be completed as the Langara Falcons held on to win. http://www.gswarriorsteamshop.com/kevin-durant-warriors-jersey/ . Goran Dragic scored 29 points, Eric Bledsoe had a career-high 28 and the Suns extended their season-high winning streak to four games by beating the Sacramento Kings 116-107 on Friday night. PHILADELPHIA -- For just one inning, Roy Halladay couldnt find the strike zone. The way his teammates were hitting in every inning, it didnt matter. Carlos Ruiz had three hits and three RBIs and rookie Cesar Hernandez reached base four times, scored twice and drove in two runs as the Philadelphia Phillies rode a six-run first inning to a 10-5 victory over the San Diego Padres on Thursday night. "Big offensive night," Phillies manager Ryne Sandberg said. "The top four guys in the lineup, there was a lot of action up there with some big hits." Halladay was in line for the win for the Phillies but couldnt get through the fifth inning after walking four straight batters and committing a throwing error. In his fourth start since coming off the disabled list on Aug. 25, Halladay gave up five runs -- four earned -- and four hits, striking out six and walking a season-high five in 4 2-3 innings. Five Philadelphia relievers held San Diego hitless over the final four innings to lead the Phillies to their fifth victory in their last six games. Justin De Fratus (3-3) was credited with the win after getting out of the fifth-inning jam. Chase Utley added two RBIs and Freddy Galvis and Kevin Frandsen collected two hits apiece for the Phillies, who took the rubber game of the three-game series in front of 29,986 rain-soaked fans watching two teams already eliminated from playoff contention. "I just kind of lost my base in the fifth inning," Halladay said. "For the most part, we were right where we wanted to be. Then in that fifth inning, it just kind of disappeared from me." Tommy Medica, who homered in his major league debut on Wednesday, led San Diego with two hits, including the infield hit that drove in a run and knocked Halladay out of the game in the fifth. For Halladay, whos still trying to work his way back following midseason shoulder surgery, it was a frustrating end to a night that started with a lot of promise. The two-time Cy Young Award winner had his start pushed back a day because he had the flu and said it "felt like Christmas morning" when he woke up Thursday and knew he was taking the mound. "I realize Im coming off surgery,&quoot; Halladay said. Anderson Varejao Jersey. "But Ive worked extra hard to get back here and pitch - and not only pitch but be successful. So its personally frustrating when Im not able to do what I want to do." After a 55-minute rain delay that pushed back the start of the game, Padres outfielder Will Venable belted a leadoff home run to right field on the third pitch he saw from Halladay. The homer was the 22nd of the season for Venable and the ninth leadoff homer of his career, a Padres record. But that lead was very short-lived as San Diego starter Tyson Ross (3- gave up five hits and six earned runs with two walks and two strikeouts in just two-thirds of an inning. Utley delivered an RBI single and Ruiz drove in two more with a double in the left-centerfield gap before Ross even recorded an out. Ross, who had a 2.16 ERA in nine starts since joining the rotation full-time on July 23, was pulled from the game with two outs in the first after Halladay drew a based-loaded walk. "It was not his night at all," Padres manager Bud Black said. "The first inning had a check-swing chopper, then he fell behind and started throwing his first ball over the plate. Their hitters just squared up and he couldnt get the one pitch to stop the damage." San Diego reliever Anthony Bass gave up a two-run double to Hernandez, who had led off the first with a single. The inning ended when Halladay was easily thrown out at home trying to score from first on Hernandezs double. "It was one of those games out of 162 that you just want to turn the page," Black said. "The Phillies just beat us." NOTES: The Phillies have not lost a series to the Padres since Aug. 24-26, 2007. . With his first-inning walk, Halladay picked up his first RBI since Sept. 11, 2012. . The Phillies matched their season-high for hits in an inning with six in the first. It was the fifth time this season they accomplished the feat. . The Padres announced that Trevor Hoffman has been appointed to the role of upper level pitching co-ordinator & special assistant to the general manager. The former star closer spent the last three seasons as a special assistant to the president & CEO. Cheap NFL Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Wholesale NFL Jerseys Jerseys From China Wholesale NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

Vargas then equalized in the 87th for the first of his two goals.QPR certainly did not deserve to lose. We were lucky to get the win, but we showed tremendous character, Rodgers said. We were a bit better in the second half but QPR definitely deserved something from the game.Despite its third straight defeat, QPR manager Harry Redknapp saw many positives but thought his team should have played out for a draw at the end.Thats the best Ive seen the team play since Ive been here, Redknapp said. Everywhere I thought we were fantastic. Today we went after them all over the park and we won our battles in 90 per cent of positions but in the end we got done for being naive.QPR started best and Charlie Austin had the games first meaningful opportunity in the 9th. After forcing his way into the penalty area, his first shot was saved by goalkeeper Simon Mignolet and from the rebound he could only find the side netting.QPR continued to press forward and midfielder Leroy Fer was twice denied bby the crossbar in the space of five minutesHis first effort cannoned off the top of the bar in the 27th and, after his second attempt, Austins follow up was cleared off the line with Mignolet stranded. wholesale jerseys. A lacklustre opening period for Liverpool saw captain Steven Gerrard curl a shot just wide in the 44th.The visitors improved after the interval and should have taken the lead in the 62nd but for an erratic attempt from Balotelli. After Adam Lallanas initial shot was parried by goalkeeper Alex McCarthy, the striker blazed over from six yards out with the goal unguarded. Those frustrations seemed to have been quelled when Dunne put through his own net after quick thinking from Raheem Sterling. A rapid free kick caught QPR offguard and Glen Johnsons cross was accidentally sent into his own net by Dunne.QPR drew level for the first time when Vargas directed Austins header into the net, eight minutes after his introduction for Bobby Zamora. However, Coutinho struck in the 90th, bending a shot beyond McCarthy after being fed by Gerrard.Vargas responded with his second in the 91st after his near-post header edged over Mignolets goal line, before another own goal in the fifth minute of stoppage time handed Liverpool the points.Sterling broke away down the right before his attempted cross for Balotelli was cut out by Caulker. Despite intercepting the pass, Caulker managed to guide the ball into the net to the disbelief of players and supporters. Were still in shock to be honest. We were very lucky today, said Gerrard. The only credit we can give ourselves is that we never gave up.The win lifts Liverpool into fifth place on 13 points while QPR remain bottom of the table after collecting four points from their opening eight matches. Cheap NFL Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Wholesale NFL Jerseys Jerseys From China Wholesale NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

SANTA CLARA, Calif. http://www.superstarrosepascher.fr/nike-roshe-one-soldes/nike-roshe-one-print-soldes.html . - An extra week to heal has proved beneficial for San Francisco tight end Vernon Davis, who says he can play without thinking again. And thats a good thing. Coming off an injury, it always lingers and its in your mind when youre playing, Davis said Thursday. I feel healthy enough to go out, get going, not thinking, just reacting. Hampered by ankle and back problems most of the season, Davis hopes to add to his 14 catches for 142 yards in the 49ers rematch with the visiting St. Louis Rams on Sunday. An All-Pro player last year after catching 13 touchdown passes, Davis has been limited to a pair of touchdown receptions, both in the first quarter of the 49ers season-opening victory over the Dallas Cowboys. Youre always going to have trials and face adversity, Davis said. You can grow from it if you deal with it the right way. San Francisco offensive co-ordinator Greg Roman expects bigger things ahead for Davis, the franchise leader among tight ends with 55 touchdowns. I think hes back to form, and you know, hes been playing through some things, Roman said. Hes gutted his way through it and I think hes got a very focused glare when it comes to what he wants to accomplish from here on out. Regaining his proficiency as a deep threat is one of those things he wants to accomplish. For the most part I feel like I can do a lot of things well, Davis said. The bye week was a great opportunity to work on things and to try to get healthy. His presence would give Colin Kaepernick, who threw for season highs of 343 yards and three touchdowns in the 49ers win over the Rams three weeks ago, another weapon in the passing game. Ill do whatever it takes to win, Davis said. Ill block for Frank Gore, Ill be the decoy down field, whatever it takes. As far as dealing with adversity, Davis only needs to look down a few lockers to see how running back Marcus Lattimore has been dealing with it for two years. Lattimore, who turned 23 on Wednesday, is two years removed from a devastating knee injury and made his practice debut this week, getting individual attention from former 49ers fullback Tom Rathman, among others. It was great to see him out there, Roman said. He worked with coach Rathman after practice and got with some of the defensive players and got some contact work, which was really good. The 49ers have 21 days to decide whether to put him on the active roster. NOTES: WR Stevie Johnson, a San Francisco native, said the Giants winning the World Series puts pressure on us to make it a San Francisco thing. Hopefully, the Warriors can take the NBA. Johnson said the San Jose Sharks Logan Couture once told him that the difference in the playoffs was how people reacted to each other. On the day Louis van Gaal announced his final 23-man squad for Brazil, the Netherlands coach looked to have picked his strongest side for the match at Feyenoords De Kuip stadium, with the vastly experienced striking partnership of Van Persie and Arjen Robben fed by playmaker Wesley Sneijder. http://www.superstarrosepascher.fr/adidas-supercolor-soldes.html . He probably didnt envision this. The Bears waited out a long rain delay and put in extra time to come away with a much-needed win.ABBOTSFORD, B.C. - Brendan Connolly scored his first career American Hockey League goal, and Olivier Roy made 27 saves to snap the Abbotsford Heats eight-game losing streak with a 3-1 win over the Utica Comets on Friday. Josh Jooris and Derek Smith also scored for Abbotsford (34-21-7). Joacim Eriksson made 32 stops for the visiting Comets (26-27-7), while Alex Grenier scored their only goal. Roy had struggled of late, being pulled in three of his last five starts, and allowing 18 goals in that stretch. The Heat opened the scoring on the power play at 12:25, with Jooris redirecting Max Reinharts centring feed on his backhand. Abbotsford dominated the second period, but Eriksson did his best to keep the Comets in the game. Turner Elson drove past a defender while shorthanded midway through the frame, and cut to the front of the net, but Eriksson stayed with him and shut the five-hole in time to keep the Comets within a goal. Eriksson reached across to rob Reinhart on the power play with less than seven minutes to go in the second. The Comets gooaltender robbed Brett Olson at the doorstep on another power play before finally succumbing to the Heat pressure in the final seconds. http://www.superstarrosepascher.fr/adidas-zx-flux-soldes.html. . Eriksson kicked out Corey Lockes rebound attempt into the slot, but Connolly stepped into a slap shot that beat the netminders outstretched arm with just 12 seconds to go in the period. Roy was largely untested through two periods but made a few big saves in the final frame. David Marshall redirected Alex Friesens shot, but Roy kicked it away four minutes into the third. Then, on a penalty kill, Roy was solid again, including a big save off Colin Stuart in the slot. The Comets finally got to the 22-year-old netminder at 8:33. Roy stoned Grenier on a backdoor one-timer but the Utica right winger chipped it over the goalie, backing it off a Heat player and in, for his 16th of the year. The Comets had a short power play in the final two minutes but couldnt complete the comeback. Smith added an empty netter with 28 seconds to play. Both teams finished 1 for 7 with the man advantage. Cheap NFL Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Wholesale NFL Jerseys Jerseys From China Wholesale NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

MONTREAL - A recharged Eugenie Bouchard, fresh off her stunning run to the Australian Opens final four, says shes ready to lead the Canadian team against Serbia at this weekends Federation Cup. Jim Brown Jersey . Bouchard, who grabbed the tennis worlds attention at last months Grand Slam, will be joined in the best-of-five series by Gabriela Dabrowski of Ottawa, Sharon Fichman of Toronto and Aleksandra Wozniak, of Blainville, Que. The 19-year-old rising tennis star said Wednesday she took time off after the Australian Open, and only worked a little bit on her serve and a few technical issues. "I was definitely physically and mentally tired," Bouchard told a news conference at Montreals Claude-Robillard Sports Complex, the site of Saturday and Sundays indoor World Group II first-round series womens tie. "Im happy with what I did, but never satisfied. I wanted to do better. At the end of the day I lost in the semifinals, so ... I hit the practice court and Im going to continue to work hard on court to try and do better." Bouchard, whose success in Melbourne moved her up to No. 19 in the world rankings, made her Fed Cup debut in 2011 and has a record of 7-2. Last year in Kyiv, Bouchard battled an injured ankle and won two matches, including the decisive doubles match alongside Fichman. That victory gave Canada a place in World Group II for the first time since 2010. Dabrowski, the countrys top-ranked female doubles player at No. 61 in the WTA computer, reached her first two WTA doubles finals in 2013 at Brussels and Linz in addition to winning two doubles titles of the ITF Challenger Circuit. The 26-year-old is 3-0 in Fed Cup play. The 23-year-old Fichman has a 22-7 career record at the Fed Cup, while Wozniak, 26, is 37-9. The Canadians will square off this weekend with a young, less-experienced Serbian team that will be missing two of its top players: Jelena Jankovic and Ana Ivanovic, a former world No. 1. Bouchard, who upset Ivanovic in the quarterfinal at the Australian Open, said Wednesday her team would have liked to meet them in the Fed Cup. "I think were all disappointed not to have the two best, Ivanovic and Jankovic, here," said Bouchard. "But now we will take advantage, we will try to do our best and I think we have all the best players in Canada here. They might not have their best, so we will use that to our advantage." Serbian team captain Dejan Vranes said Ivanovic wont play this weekend due to injury and that Jankovic no longer competes in the event. The country will be represented by Nina Stojanovic, 17, Aleksandra Krunic, 20, Jovana Jaksic, 20, and Vesna Dolonc, 24, who at No. 117 is its top-ranked player. Vranes called the Canadians the favourites, particularly since they will be playing in front of a home crowd in a venue that holds some 4,000 fans. "We have a great challenge in front of us, but I believe in our team and I think we have a chance in every match," a confident Vranes told reporters. "Well be ready to fight." The Canadian women, however, are aiming to continue Canadas recent stretch of strong tennis performances. On the mens side, Milos Raonic climbed into the top 10 in the world last year, while Vasek Pospisil also rose in the rankings. Both reached the Rogers Cup semifinals in Montreal last summer and led the Davis Cup team to a first-ever semifinal appearance. Wozniak said she hopes the women can also deliver their own record-breaking finish. "Were looking forward to the challenge, and what the men did, its made history in Canada," Wozniak said. "So, I think for me, and for the team, its important. We would love to make a new history for Canada and win this tie." For Bouchard, who grew up in the Montreal Island community of Westmount, theres the bonus of playing a match in her hometown for the first time in a year and a half. "Its always fun to play in Montreal," said Bouchard, who was asked whether more people seem to recognize her in the city since the Australian Open. "Yeah, for sure, there are people who say, Good luck and that they are proud of me. Its special. Im happy to get compliments like that." Joe Thomas Jersey . INDIANAPOLIS -- Atlantas Mike Scott hit Indiana with the first 3-point barrage Monday night. Nike Roshe One Pas Cher Femme . The Hawks defence staggered the Pacers with some late stops. Now Atlanta is heading home with a chance to deliver the knockout punch to the Eastern Conferences top seed. Scott scored all 17 of his points during the Hawks incredible second-quarter run, and the defence fended off the Pacers frantic fourth-quarter charge to hold on for a 107-97 victory and a stunning 3-2 lead in the first-round series. "We can play with this team," Scott said. "Theyre a great team, especially at home, great players, great coach, but we have a belief in ourselves as well." Why not? All the Hawks have to do is protect their home court and they will reach the second round for the first time since 2011, and throw the East into disarray after the talk all season was about an Indiana-Miami rematch in the conference finals. That looks like a long shot now. The Pacers havent won consecutive games with their regular starters in the lineup since mid-March and the leagues best regular-season home team (35-6) has inexplicably given away home court advantage to the Hawks -- twice. Theyre making it look easy, too. Atlanta shredded one of the leagues top defences during a remarkable second quarter, making 13 of 16 shots overall and 9 of 11 from beyond the arc. Scott made all five of his 3s during the decisive 30-6 run, which actually started with the final basket of the first quarter, to turn a 21-18 deficit into a 48-27 lead. Indiana never recovered. Atlanta outscored the Pacers 41-19 during that 12-minute stretch, matching the second-highest second-quarter scoring total in the franchises post-season history. The Hawks scored 41 against Detroit on March 17, 1986, and the St. Louis Hawks had 45 against Fort Wayne on March 14, 1957. Indiana, meanwhile, allowed a second-quarter franchise record, breaking the previous mark of 39 points set by Boston on April 23, 2005. The Hawks joined the 1970 Milwaukee Bucks as the only road teams in the shot-clock era to score at least 40 points in a quarter and give up fewer than 19. Not enough? Atlanta tied an NBA record with 9 3-pointers, most recently done in 2008, and also broke the franchise playoff record for 3s in a game with 15. The previous mark was 12. "I didnt even know," Kyle Korver said after making two 3s in the second quarter and another late in the game to keep the Hawks in control. "Mike got hot. I dont know how many 3s he hit in that quarter. Mike hadnt shot the ball as well as he did tonight, but he hasnt shot that well all series." Shelvin Mack led the Hawks with 20 points, while Paul Millsap had 18. The Pacers, meanwhile, endured yet another bleak chapter in a second-half collapse that could go down as the worst in NBA history -- if they lose either of the next two games. And it was downright dismal. Roy Hibbert finished without a point or a rebound for the first time in his playoff career. Indiana was outrebounded for the first time in the series and its rebuilt bench was outscored 45-23. Paul George led the Pacers with 26 points and 12 rebounds. George Hill, Lance Stephenson and David West all had 16 points, not quite enough to rally on a night they were again serenaded with boos in the first half. "It was frustrating because we didnt make a change," George said of the Pacers defence. "We let them run the same action, the same shot. We didnt do nothing. So that was frustrating." The game changed in a hurry. Atlanta opened the second quarter with a free throw from Mack to tie the score at 21. Scott then made four consecutive 3s to push the lead to 33-21. Mack followed that with a midrange jumper, Korver made a 3, Scott scored on a putback and Korver hit his second 3. Mack followed that with two free throws and Scott closed the run with his last 3 of the game to make it 48-27. The Pacers still trailed 61-40 at halftime and by as many as 30 points in the third quarter before the frantic comeback. Indiana cut the deficit to 85-67 late in the third and with the crowd urging them on, the Pacers made it 96-87 on C.J. Watsons layup with 4:04 to go. But Korver answered with a 3 and the Hawks closed it out at the free throw line. "We dont do much for moral victories, we just dropped the ball," West said. "Everybodys got to be ready to play and I didnt think we responded well enough." Notes: The Pacers had a moment of silence to honour former coach Jack Ramsay, who died Monday at age 89. Ramsay led the Pacers to the first NBA playoff win in franchise history. ... Atlanta has three wins at Bankers Life Fieldhouse and is the only team to beat Indiana on its home court more than once this season. ... Rangers manager Ron Washington decided to give his closer one more day of rest after a long week, and Matt Harrison had already done most of the heavy lifting to put Texas in position for another victory.NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Tennessee Titans have kicked their youth movement into high gear with rookie Zach Mettenberger starting at quarterback against the Houston Texans on Sunday.Jake Locker has missed three of the past four games with injuries, and coach Ken Whisenhunt said Thursday that the decision to go with Mettenberger was made Tuesday. The coach said this is an opportunity to see what the sixth-round draft pick out of LSU can do with the Titans struggling at 2-5.No question hes a talented, young player, and maybe itll give us a spark, Whisenhunt said. Offensively, we havent exactly been lighting it up, so thats part of it in consideration.Whisenhunt waited to announce the change to make sure Locker — who has been sidelined with an injured thumb — is healthy enough to back up Mettenberger. The coach also was trying to buy a day to slow down the Texans preparation for the rookie. The shake-up dropped Charlie Whitehurst, who started three of the past four games with the Titans losing two of those, to third on the depth chart.Mounting losses and injuries seemed to make the change inevitable. The Titans had stuck with Locker, the eighth pick overall in 2011, since hiring Whisenhunt in January. But Locker has missed 17 of a possible 39 starts and finished only three games this season because of injuries.Mettenberger will become the fourth rookie quarterback to start in the NFL this season, the third quarterback for Whisenhunt. The Titans already are starting left tackle Taylor Lewan, linebacker Avery Williamson and running back Bishop Sankey with Mettenberger the fourth of six draft picks to start this season. The quarterback dropped to the sixth round after tearing his left ACL on Nov. 29 playing for LSU but led the NFL this preseason with 659 yards passing. The rookie shaved the beard he started growing during training camp after practice just before talking to reporters.By no means am I a Tom Brady or a Peyton Manning, Mettenberger said as he leaned back against his locker. This is going to be my first game, so really I just got to get the ball out of my hands quick, avoid turnovers and put the ball in the (hands of) guys who can make plays for us. RReally thats the biggest thing a young guys got to do. http://www.superstarrosepascher.fr/. Whisenhunt had promised he would be more patient with quarterbacks in his second time around as a head coach. He reached the 2009 Super Bowl in Arizona with Kurt Warner, but the coach cycled through quarterbacks after the veteran left. Whisenhunt started Kevin Kolb, John Skelton, Ryan Lindley and finally Brian Hoyer in his final season in 2012.Once in Tennessee, he inherited Locker who was coming off a Lisfranc injury to his right foot that cost him the final seven games of the 2013 season. The Titans did not pick up Lockers option for 2015 in May, even as they stood behind him as their starter. But Locker hurt his right wrist in a loss at Cincinnati on Sept. 21. He missed a loss at Indianapolis and then started Oct. 5 against Cleveland where he threw for a touchdown and ran for another TD before hurting his right thumb on a helmet.I understood after last year I didnt know kind of how it would go and coming into this year they gave me an opportunity, Locker said. I havent been in. I havent played. Thats been kind of one of those things that Ive dealt with throughout my career, and I imagine it has something to do with that.Fans have been clamouring to see Mettenberger with the Titans losing five of their last six. This franchise also needs to give people a reason to use their tickets and come to the stadium where they have won only two of their last nine home games.Mettenberger fits the profile of the quarterback Whisenhunt has had the most success with: Pittsburghs Ben Roethlisberger. Mettenberger is 6-foot-5 and 224 pounds who can stand in the pocket, and he has a strong arm throwing for 3,082 yards last season at LSU. With Lockers injured thumb, Mettenberger also had taken some practice work with the starters over the past two weeks. He will be the first rookie this franchise has started since 2010. Rusty Smith started at Houston after Vince Young was placed on injured reserve and veteran Kerry Collins was hurt. Smith and the Titans lost 20-0.___Online:AP NFL website: www.pro32.ap.org and www.twitter.com/AP_NFL___Follow Teresa M. LOS ANGELES -- Martin Jones has done something even Hall of Fame goalie Patrick Roy never did -- win his first eight NHL games. Authentic Joe Haden Jersey . Roy watched Jones become the second goalie to accomplish that feat -- from the other bench -- as the 23-year-old phenom made 23 saves for the Los Angeles Kings and stopped all three shots in the shootout for a 3-2 victory over the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday. Jones has allowed eight goals on 234 shots while filling in for the injured Jonathan Quick, and has posted shutouts against Montreal, Edmonton and the New York Islanders. The only other goalie to win his first eight games was Philadelphias Bob Froese in the 1982-83 season. "Honestly, I dont even know what the record is," Jones said. "Its a good start and its something to build off of. I just wanted to make sure I came in here and did the things that made me successful in the past. "Every night our guys come to play, and the pride they take in their defensive game is pretty impressive. So I cant give them enough credit." This was the second shootout involving Jones, who in his NHL debut on Dec. 3 stopped all nine shots in the tiebreaker against Anaheim. In this one, he stopped Matt Duchene, PA Parenteau and Ryan OReilly. "These guys can put together a pretty good shootout lineup, so you know youre going to face some skilled players," Jones said. "I just try to stay patient and try not to bite on the first move all the time." The only goal in the shootout was by Anze Kopitar, the Kings second shooter. Kopitar has scored the deciding goal in four of the Kings six shootout wins. "Any goalie for us that is back there, we have a lot of confidence in them," Kopitar said. "Its up to the shooters to get a couple." Jeff Carter and Justin Williams scored for the Kings (25-8-4), who are off to their best start after 37 games and have won nine of 10. They are 22-1-2 when allowing fewer than three goals. OReilly and Erik Johnson scored power-play goals, and Duchene had two assists for the Avalanche, 4-4-2 in their last 10 following a 17-5-5 start. Semyon Varlamov made 37 saves, one day after prosecutors in Denver dropped a domestic violence case against him. Down 2-0, Colorado cut the deficit in half at 14:02 of the second with Johnsons fifth goal and third in four games. He got a cross-ice pass from Duchene in the left circle and one-timed it to the short side past Jones glove while Jarret Stoll was off for tripping. "It was a good play by them, a low lateral play," Jones said. "I got a decent read on it, but I just wasnt able to extend my blocker out far enough. I thought we deserved to win in regulation. We needed one more big save that we didnt get." The Avalanche, 2 for 39 on the power play in their previous 13 games, cashed in again with 9:33 left in regulation while Mike Richards served a delay-of-game penalty. OReilly, playing in his 300th regular-season game, converted a pass from behind the net from Duchene for his 12th goal. "I thought we showed a lot of character. Being down 2-0 in L.A. is not easy," Roy said. "We had a big break on that power play, and you see how important it is to score on it. That was a big point for us, no doubt about it." Los Angeles came in having allowed six goals in 77 short-handed situations over its previous 21 games. The Kings, who needed almost eight minutes to get their first shot, opened the scoring 32 seconds before the end of the first period. Varlamov made a glove save on Drew Doughtys one-timer from the top of the left circle, but Carter beat defenceman Cory Sarich to the rebound and tucked his 11th goal past the goalies outstretched left leg. Williams made it 2-0 at 5:25 of the second, batting a fluttering puck over Varlamovs left shoulder for his team-high 12th goal. NOTES: The in-house camera crew showed a fan holding up a handmade sign with a photo of Jones and the words: "Glory to the newborn King." ... The Kings have been shut out only once this season -- when the Avalanche beat them 1-0 at Staples Center on Nov. 23 with an overtime goal by Jamie McGinn and 33 saves by Varlamov. Authentic Jim Brown Jersey . Obsessed. Driven. Professional. The epitome of a champion. UFC president Dana White was full of praise Thursday in summing up welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre, who looks to extend his MMA legacy this weekend with a win over Johny (Bigg Rigg) Hendricks at UFC 167. "When youre as rich as Georges St-Pierre is, to stay that mentally tough and to keep having the drive and the passion to win that he does, thats what separates him from all the rest," White told reporters Thursday. Asked how rich the 32-year-old fighter from Montreal was, White replied: "Hes rich. Hes very rich." And White knows rich. The UFC boss travels in a world of private jets, big bets, fast cars and the finest restaurants. Saturdays payday will likely help further pad the GSP retirement fund. St-Pierre, the organizations biggest pay-per-view draw, is likely to earn several times over the US$2 million that Zuffa paid to purchase an ailing UFC back in 2001. White has his favourites and villains in his roster of fighters past and present. Former light-heavyweight Chuck (The Iceman) Liddell is like family. Tito Ortiz, another former title-holder, was oil to Whites water. But his tribute to St-Pierre, in a lengthy scrum of reporters after the pre-fight news conference Thursday, was unparalleled. "Hes an absolute professional," White said. "No matter how dominant hes been over the last however many years, he still takes guys seriously, he still puts in the hard work. Hes a dedicated professional." White also said St-Pierre was easy to work with outside the cage. If the champion has an issue, he just picks up the phone and they hash it out. "Theres no ego with Georges St-Pierre ... Nobody has been easier and more professional to work with than Georges St-Pierre." The champion has surrounded himself with good people, he added, "There are no barnacles on that kids back. That kid is his own man. he does his own thing." And White seemed to marvel as the Canadian champions pursuit of excellence. "The thing that makes this whole thing work, this whole machine is hunger and drive ... To still have that drive and that desire to win is what sets him apart from all the rest." White was one of the early booster of St-Pierre. "In my opinion, Georges St-Pierre is the most talented fighter on the planet right now," the UFC president said in February 2006 before UFC 58. "The Canadian people ought be all over him, man. The kid is good-looking, charismatic, an unbelievable fighter, one of the nicest human beings you could ever hope to meet. Im surprised he doesnt have major blue-chip sponsors here in Canada, because people are really starting to notice him in the U.S. "It doesnt matter wheres he from," White added. "Hes a star, hes a UFC star." White has also been critical. After St-Pierre was beaten in his first title defence, at UFC 69 in April 2007, the UFC boss questioned his mental strength, "After watching that Matt Serra fight, I question Georges St. Pierres mental ability to fight." St-Pierre (24-2) has not lost since and has long put that criticism to rest. On Thursday, as Hendricks drove himself to distraction over pre-fight bickering concerning additional drug tests, St-Pierre smiled and politely answered all questionns on the topic. Paul Kruger Browns Jersey. In response to Hendricks sly claim that the champion wasnt as big as he used to be, St-Pierre -- speaking in French -- turned the accusation into a testimonial for his fitness DVD RushFit. He looked every part a champion, in an elegant suit and tie. Hendricks wore a garish yellow/lime green T-shirt under a black baseball cap. White noted how St-Pierre looked on the televised preview show for UFC 167 -- his nose split and face bruised from training. "Eyes so black that it actually looks like he has black eye-liner across his eye. Thats a guy whos busting his ass in the gym every day, Thats the guy whos doing everything it takes to win another title defence." These days St-Pierre is on a quest to keep adding his name to the UFC record book. He can make history by winning Saturday, becoming the first fighter to record 19 wins in the UFC. The Canadian champion is currently tied with UFC Hall of Famer Matt Hughes, whom he first beat for the title, at 18 victories. GSP is also tied with former middleweight champion Anderson Silva for most wins in UFC title bouts at 11. And if the Hendricks fight lasts 40 seconds or longer, St-Pierre will surpass B.J. Penns record of five hours three minutes and 51 seconds for career fight time in the UFC. St-Pierre already holds the mark for most championship rounds fought (47). He has already set UFC records for significant strikes landed (1,153), total strikes landed (2,39, takedowns landed (84), and takedown accuracy rate (75 per cent), according to FightMetric. St-Pierre has controlled his opponent for two hours 35 minutes 57 seconds in the cage, using the top position on the ground to punish or finish opponents. Those records date back to UFC 28, the first event to use the unified rules of mixed martial arts. The total fight time record dates back to UFC 1. St-Pierre is also chasing other records. A win Saturday would be both GSPs ninth successful title defence and ninth straight title defence, one behind Silva in each category. It will be his 14th championship fight, one behind Randy Couture. For his part, St-Pierre says he will savour such records when he is older. There is still work to do. White believes GSP is after Silvas records. "Georges isnt the kind of guy that talks about that stuff, but I believe if you look at the type of guy that he is and what hes accomplished, I think thats what hes doing." St-Pierre has already taken care of key business, avenging his only two losses. He defeated Hughes twice (at UFC 65 and UFC 79) after tapping out to an armbar at UFC 50 in October 2004. And after losing his first title defence to Serra at UFC 69, he won the crown back a year later at UFC 83. After losing his title to Serra, a sports psychologist suggested he threw a brick with Serras name on it into the chilly water off Montreals South Shore to symbolize getting the title loss -- and Serra -- off his back. So he did. He revamped his training staff and management and has never looked back. GSP, who underwent knee surgery in December 2011 after a training injury during wrestling, is currently riding an 11-fight win streak -- the longest current run in the UFC. White marvelled at such an unbeaten run. "Especially when you are the champion. All the best in the world are gunning at you. All the time." Cheap NFL Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Wholesale NFL Jerseys Jerseys From China Wholesale NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap Jerseys ' ' '
